Ministry of Christian Education Christian Education at SJMBC
Christian education is the pacesetter in enthusiasm, inspiration, faithfulness and devotion. Sunday School has an important role in the religious training and spiritual growth of the membership of the Church. Those who minister in this area should be able to train, organize and plan. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God ;” (Col. 1:10)
Sunday School: Meeting times Sunday Mornings 8:45-9:40am
Our Sunday Classes are available for nursery through adults. Each class provides age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that teach the character of God, the work of Christ and the way to live in right relationship to Him. This is done by presenting the whole council of God and demonstrating the unity, consistency, and adequacy of the Scriptures for their lives. Each class is led by skilled teachers who are committed to communicating the truth of God’s Word clearly and with an application for our lives. Each teacher strives to live a life of devotion to Christ so that he or she can set an example that is consistent with the Godly standards that are taught.
